This role supports Global Customer Operations' Engineering & Commissioning unit during a period of sustained high workload and demanding project forecasts, this role focuses on electrical design engineering, system commissioning support, and technical project leadership. the ideal candidate will have extensive experience in electrical system design, strong troubleshooting capabilities, and a proven track record of delivering complex industrial projects in China.
Your Responsibilities
40% Electrical Design & Engineering
• Develop detailed electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and system layouts for electrification and automation projects.
• Perform electrical calculations, component sizing, and specification of electrical equipment in compliance with local and international standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to integrate electrical designs into broader system architectures.
30% Commissioning & Technical Support
• Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support during factory acceptance testing (FAT) and site commissioning phases.
• Liaise with customers and site managers to address technical queries and implement engineering changes.
30% Project Management & Quality Assurance
• Lead technical execution of assigned engineering work packages, ensuring adherence to schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
• Maintain comprehensive engineering documentation, including design changes, test reports, and technical specifications.
• Drive continuous improvement in engineering workflows to optimize productivity and support business continuity.
What You Bring
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a closely related field
• At least 5 years of professional experience in MV/LV electrical systems design, such as switchgear, power distribution, control panel design within the power, energy, or industrial automation sectors
• Proficiency in electrical design tools such as AutoCAD and EPLAN; experience with ETAP is an advantage.
• Fluency in Mandarin and professional working proficiency in English
• Candidates with experience in E-House structural design and electrical design will be given preference.
