A Snapshot of Your Day

Join us as a Network Automation Engineer, where you will transform repetitive network tasks into efficient, software-driven workflows. Imagine building Infrastructure-as-Code modules, integrating a source of truth with controllers, and creating automated validation processes that enhance network reliability. You will collaborate with network architects, service owners, SRE, operations, and suppliers to streamline network platforms, making them faster, safer, and easier to use. Your focus will be on developing an engineering system that emphasizes controlled version management, reusable APIs, testing, observability, and controlled deployment.

How You’ll Make an Impact

Build and maintain reusable automation for campus, WAN, Data Center, DDI, and Secure Access platforms using declarative data models, APIs, and Infrastructure-as-Code practices.

Establish version-controlled engineering workflows that include peer review, automated testing, policy checks, change validation, rollback, and configuration-compliance controls.

Integrate network source-of-truth, IPAM/DDI, ITSM, controllers, telemetry, and supplier workflows to enable end-to-end orchestration and ensure accurate operational context.

Convert high-volume manual activities and runbooks into standardized self-service workflows, reducing lead time, configuration drift, and dependency on individual experts.

Create the technical foundation for AI-assisted and agentic NetOps by exposing trusted data, safe actions, audit trails, and measurable automation outcomes.

Collaborate effectively across traditional network operations, architecture, SRE, and supplier teams to drive innovation and efficiency.

What You Bring

A university degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

A solid understanding of enterprise networking, including routing, switching, IP services, and at least one area of campus, WAN, Data Center, DDI, or Network Security.

Hands-on software and automation skills with Python, APIs, data structures, and automation frameworks such as Ansible, Terraform, Nornir, or comparable tools.

Experience with enterprise version-control and configuration-management practices, CI/CD, declarative infrastructure workflows, automated testing, secrets management, code review, and traceable infrastructure changes.

Knowledge of network data models and interfaces such as YANG, NETCONF, RESTCONF, gNMI, OpenConfig, and vendor APIs is highly desirable.

An engineering mindset centered on reusable products, documentation, testing, security, maintainability, and measurable reduction of manual toil.
