Our client, a global leader in the industrial sector, is expanding its operations and looking for a Logistics Coordinator to join their team in this newly created role.
about the job
- Send freight inquiries to forwarders, compare rates and recommend suitable shipping options.
- Arrange air, sea, and land shipments, freight bookings and related transport.
- Prepare shipping paperwork, including packing lists, shipping/commercial invoices for customs and other required documents.
- Coordinate customs clearance and communicate with forwardings agents.
- Track shipments, ETD/ETA, customs examinations, delays and final delivery.
- Obtain proof of delivery and maintain shipment records.
- Check freight bills against agreed quotations and flag discrepancies.
skills and experience required
- Minimum 5 years of experience collaborating closely with US and South Korea counterparts/vendors.
