The UI/UX Engineer designs and helps build user-facing interfaces for the team's applications over a defined engagement, raising the design quality and consistency of the team's tools and leaving behind a clean, documented handover.Duties:Gather and interpret user and business requirements through stakeholder conversations, and user research where relevant.Design user interfaces and experiences for the team's web and app-based solutions, from wireframes through to high-fidelity designs.Build and maintain design system components for consistency across the team's applications.Translate designs into working front-end code, or work closely with developers to implement them accurately.Present design concepts, prototypes and rationale to stakeholders, incorporating feedback into iterations.Conduct usability reviews and iterate on designs based on feedback.Work with stakeholders and developers to balance user needs with technical constraints.Ensure designs meet accessibility standards.Document design decisions and maintain design assets for future reference and a clean handover at the end of the contract.
