Your role

Your mission is to deliver skilled on-site service that keeps our customers’ equipment performing reliably and safely. You use your expertise to repair, maintain, and support the technology they depend on. Through your work, you help customers secure the uptime and performance they need to run their operations with confidence. You join the Customer Center Service team and report into the Operations Manager.

Reporting directly to the Field Service Team Leader within our dedicated Field Service team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal operation of Edwards equipment at our clients’ sites. Your mission centers on delivering outstanding, safe, and efficient installation, maintenance, and technical support services that drive customer satisfaction and long-term success.

As a key interface between our technology and our valued customers, your work will directly influence equipment reliability and operational excellence in the field.

Your day-to-day

• Conduct detailed installation and commissioning of Edwards machinery, ensuring alignment with technical specifications and customer expectations.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and troubleshooting to proactively minimize equipment downtime, supporting continuous client operations.
• Respond swiftly and effectively to customer service requests, applying your problem-solving expertise to diagnose and resolve equipment issues on-site.
• Communicate clearly with customers to understand their technical needs and relay critical service information back to the Field Service Team Leader for coordinated support.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive service documentation, adhering to all company procedures, health, and safety regulations.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams internally as well as with client personnel to ensure seamless and professional service delivery.

Your skills and experience

• A degree or diploma in Engineering or a related technical field is preferred, demonstrating a solid technical foundation.
• Prior experience in a field service role, especially within industrial or semiconductor environments, is highly valued and advantageous.
• Competence in interpreting electrical and mechanical schematics is essential for effective troubleshooting and maintenance activities.
• Experience working with electro-mechanical assemblies, equipment installation, or programmable logic controllers (PLCs) will strengthen your application.
• Strong analytical and diagnostic skills that enable you to identify root causes and implement efficient corrective measures.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills, fostering a customer-centered approach and teamwork.

Regular travel to customer locations will be part of your role, ensuring hands-on service delivery and fostering strong client relationships.
