The Government Affairs Head for SAP in Japan is a senior leadership position responsible for developing and executing strategies for government and regulatory engagements in Japan, aligning with SAP's business objectives. The Government affairs leader for Japan is expected to work in partnership with internal stakeholders, anticipating and engaging on policies and regulations with an impact on SAP operations. The role also involves identifying political and social developments beneficial to the industry and work towards brand amplification.
You have enterprise-level expertise spanning government affairs strategy, public policy, political risk governance, crisis communications, and the design of scalable stakeholder engagement frameworks.
You'll define SAP's government affairs strategy in Japan, establishing the governance standards and engagement frameworks that position SAP as a trusted innovation partner and technology leader with political stakeholders. Counselling the SAP Japan senior leadership on political risk, leading strategic policy advocacy and representing SAP at different levels of government are core responsibilities of the role.
