Internship International SEO, GEO & Content

Your scope of work

Are you passionate about digital content, search engine optimization, and the future of online discovery? Join MediaMarktSaturn as an intern in International SEO, GEO & Content and help shape how customers discover and interact with our products and content across our international webshops.

In this role, you will support international digital projects across e-commerce and digital content, focusing on improving the quality, completeness, visibility, and customer experience of product and web content. You will also contribute to the analysis and optimization of content performance, identifying opportunities to strengthen our organic visibility through SEO (Search Engine Optimization) and GEO (Generative Engine Optimization).

Working closely with international teams, you will gain hands-on experience in digital content management, data-driven optimization, and emerging search technologies in a dynamic e-commerce environment.

Key responsibilities:

• International Content Optimization: Support the optimization of product and web content across MediaMarktSaturn’s international webshops to improve content quality, completeness, consistency, and relevance.
• SEO & GEO: Help identify and implement opportunities to improve organic visibility in traditional search engines and AI-powered search experiences.
• Content Performance Analysis: Analyze product content, website performance, and relevant SEO metrics to identify trends, improvement opportunities, and actionable insights.
• Keyword & Search Intent Research: Conduct keyword research and analyze search intent to help create and optimize relevant, customer-focused content.
• Digital Content Projects: Contribute to international projects focused on enhancing product information, digital content processes, and the overall online customer experience.
• Competitive & Market Analysis: Research industry trends, competitors, and emerging developments in SEO, GEO, and digital content.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with international stakeholders to support content initiatives and share insights that help improve the performance of our webshops.

• You are currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Business Engineering, Communication, Digital Business, E-commerce, or a related field.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong interest in SEO, GEO, digital content, and e-commerce.
• Curiosity about how search engines and AI-powered tools influence the way customers discover products and information online.
• An analytical mindset with an interest in identifying patterns and optimization opportunities through data.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• A detail-oriented, proactive, and eager-to-learn attitude in an international environment.
• Strong collaboration skills and an interest in working with different teams and stakeholders.
• Initial experience with SEO tools, web analytics, content management systems, or keyword research is a plus, but not a requirement.
