An incredible opportunity awaits you as a Bridge Systems Intern!
As a Bridge Systems Intern, you will be responsible for supporting systems delivered by Kongsberg Maritime in the office. This includes working with Dynamic Positioning, Propulsion Control, Navigation, and other control systems delivered by Kongsberg Maritime. This is a fast-track technical position that will give you an opportunity to learn new skills in exciting maritime applications.
Develop the ability to work on Kongsberg Maritime’s Bridge Systems
Support the Technical team with Factory Acceptance Tests, Internal Acceptance Tests, and in-house configuration/repairs
Execute projects assignments from Project Managers and Technical Advisors
Read and interpret drawings and control system architecture
Use of tools for troubleshooting communication or loop errors
Understanding of Power Systems, Control systems, Programming in C
Familiar with communication protocols (profibus, TCP/IP, Modbus, etc)
Pursuing a degree in Electrical, Electronics, Electromechanical, or Computer Engineering
Ability to troubleshoot low voltage electrical components, use of multimeter, etc.
Knowledge of general electronic control system concepts such as PID controllers, filters, and communication protocols.
Good communication skills and fluent in English
