Logo Design Brief
I need a logo designed for a business rebrand. We are currently Carousel Skate Center and are rebranding to Carousel Adventure Zone. Brand colors included in attachments.
- Brand positioning: A modern, premium indoor family entertainment destination—not a traditional roller rink.
- Audience: Families with kids, teens, young adults, birthday parties, school groups, and adults. It should appeal to children without looking childish.
- What you offer: Roller skating, interactive gaming/Freedom Gaming, large indoor playground, pixel floor, arcade, parties and food.
- Desired feeling: Energetic, exciting, modern, polished, immersive and slightly adventurous. Think national entertainment brand, not local kids' play place.
- Logo hierarchy: I would make CAROUSEL the dominant word and ADVENTURE ZONE the secondary descriptor.
- Style references: We like the two logos attached for main event and the hub because of their simplicity.
- Avoid: Roller skates, literal carousels/carousel horses, cartoon children, balloons, confetti, game controllers, overly juvenile fonts, complicated illustrations, and anything that screams “1990s family fun center.”
- Practical requirement: It needs to work on the exterior building, digital signage, website, social media, employee uniforms, cups, wristbands, merchandise and small-format applications. Need something that supports versions that work horizontally, stacked, one-color, and reversed on a dark background.
- Longevity: Need something that could plausibly become a regional or national entertainment brand.
