Are you passionate about mechanics, engines, and solving technical challenges hands-on?
We are looking for a Service Engineer, Mechanic to join our Mechanical Field Service team and support our customers with maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and commissioning of Wärtsilä products and equipment.
This is a field-based role where you'll work directly with customers, vessels, and engines, gaining valuable hands-on experience while contributing to reliable and sustainable operations across the marine industry.
The location for this position is Naples, Italy. When not working in the field, remote working is also available.
As a Service Engineer, Mechanic, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality technical support and service solutions to our customers.
You will perform advanced troubleshooting, inspections, maintenance, repairs, and commissioning activities on Wärtsilä equipment, helping customers maximize reliability and performance. Most of your time will be spent in the field, working closely with customers and experienced colleagues in dynamic and challenging environments.

The annual salary range for this role is 28.238 EUR – 38.367 EUR in accordance with the salary provisions in the applicable National Collective Labor Agreement for workers in the metalworking and plant installation industry (CCNL Metalmeccanico).
