Discover the Role
As a Funds Services, Assistant Manager , you will play a key role in delivering high-quality corporate governance and company secretarial services to a portfolio of fund clients. You will manage board and shareholder matters, support complex corporate transactions, build strong client relationships, and act as a trusted advisor on compliance and regulatory requirements. In addition, you will contribute to the development of junior team members while ensuring exceptional service delivery and operational excellence.
Attend and document board and shareholder meetings, including minute-taking, drafting, circulation, approval, and filing
Draft board and shareholder minutes, as well as written resolutions
Validate and sign off statutory registers
Manage company liquidation and dissolution processes
Oversee the establishment and termination of limited partnerships
Support the onboarding of new client entities through the Business Acceptance Committee
Build strong relationships with key client contacts through regular communication and timely task delivery
Attend client meetings, including visits to client offices when required
Liaise with clients and advisors on complex compliance and accounting matters
Supervisor and mentor junior team members
Identify and support development opportunities for administrators and trainees
Key Requirements
Ideally 5+ years of experience within a Funds environment
Previous people management experience is highly desirable
Strong client relationship management skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional client service
Excellent presentation, negotiation, and influencing skills
Sound knowledge of company secretarial, accounting, audit, and cash management matters
Strong understanding of commercial, legal, regulatory, and operational principles
Excellent organisational and time management skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database systems
