Broad Function and Purpose of Position : Mechanic will be required to work with a team for the purposes of maintaining production equipment and keeping production equipment running. Position also requires mechanic to perform troubleshooting, repairs and preventive maintenance on all equipment and facilities, as well as any other maintenance tasks that may be assigned from time to time. Specific Responsibilities: Maintain manual and semiautomatic systems that process chemical substances into industrial or consumer products, such as sealants, adhesives, primers, and intermediates. Perform preventative maintenance on mixing and packaging equipment. Troubleshoot and repair any malfunction of mixing or packaging equipment. Review and read electric drawings as needed. Assist production efforts when required. Performs other duties of a similar or related level and assists with special projects as necessary or assigned. Responsible for conformance with all safety rules to maintain plant safety.
