Senior Program Manager

Philips (Belgium) · Bangalore, India

About the role

Job Title Senior Program Manager Job Description Senior Program Manager – Intelligent Systems & AI At Philips, our purpose is to improve people's health and well-being through meaningful innovation. Across enterprise imaging, radiology, cardiology and digital pathology, our healthcare informatics solutions help clinicians and health systems turn complex data into better-informed decisions. Doing that at scale takes more than great products: it takes exceptional technology, operations and execution behind them. That is where Intelligent Systems & AI (IS&AI), within Philips Healthcare Informatics, comes in. We connect business priorities with platforms, data, automation and AI to improve how our business sells, delivers and supports customers. From commercial and service workflows to enterprise technology transformation, we work across teams and systems to remove friction, improve outcomes and create lasting value. We are looking for someone who wants to help build that future, not simply manage a plan. The opportunity You will lead high-impact, cross-functional technology programs from an ambiguous business problem to an implemented solution and measurable result. You will partner closely with business leaders, product managers, engineers, architects and technology partners. Expect to move between strategic choices and operational detail, influence technical trade-offs, unblock teams and help reshape how programs run in an AI-enabled organization. This is a hands-on leadership role, not a reporting-only PMO position. Your Role · Translate customer and business problems into clear goals, success measures, practical scope and decisions. Work backwards from customer experience, adoption, productivity, cost or revenue impact rather than treating delivery milestones as the finish line. · Drive complex programs from discovery and prioritization through design, build, integration, launch, adoption and value realization. Make sequencing and capacity trade-offs, resolve blockers and take accountability when plans change. · Work closely with engineering and architecture on systems, APIs, data flows, integrations and technical dependencies across CRM, CPQ, ERP, service platforms and other enterprise applications. Understand enough to ask the hard questions and challenge choices constructively. · Align commercial and service business leaders, product teams, engineering, operations, vendors and system integrators around one coherent roadmap. Build accountability and make decisions without relying on formal authority. · Establish fit-for-purpose operating mechanisms that show the real risks, dependencies, owners and decisions. Communicate trade-offs clearly to senior leaders and distinguish meaningful progress from status reporting. · Use AI, automation and modern digital tools to reduce coordination overhead, detect issues earlier and improve decision quality. Experiment, learn and scale what works, with appropriate security, privacy and human accountability. You may be a great fit if you · Have 7+ years of experience leading complex enterprise software, digital transformation or technical programs spanning multiple teams, systems and business stakeholders. · Bring experience from product-led technology, cloud/SaaS or enterprise-platform businesses, or from technology and digital transformation consulting where you owned delivery through implementation and adoption - not just strategy, governance or reporting. · Hold a master's degree in engineering, computer science, information systems, business or a related discipline, or an MBA. Comparable exceptional experience in technical program leadership may also be considered. · Think from first principles: you can break down an unclear problem, test assumptions, identify the real constraint and make sensible decisions with incomplete information. · Have a track record of personally moving difficult programs forward and can explain the decisions you made, the trade-offs you navigated and the business or customer outcomes that resulted. · Combine strategic judgment with hands-on execution. You are as comfortable framing a direction with executives as getting into the details with engineers or removing a delivery blocker. · Bring practical technical fluency in enterprise systems, cloud or SaaS platforms, integrations and data; you can collaborate credibly with product and engineering without needing to be the person writing production code. · Are an effective, concise communicator who earns trust across functions and cultures, surfaces uncomfortable facts early and makes complex decisions understandable. · Are curious and comfortable using AI tools in your own work today, with a strong appetite to experiment and continuously improve how you and your team operate. How we work together We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations. #LI #Healthcareinformatics About Philips Are you ready to do the work of your life to help the lives of others?
