This role oversees the Production Planning team, ensuring the development and maintenance of accurate and executable production plans that support customer service, operational efficiency, and profitable growth. As a key leader within Operations, the Production Planning Manager collaborates closely with Manufacturing, Engineering, Customer Service, Finance, Information Technology, and Commercial teams to drive alignment throughout the Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP) process. Leveraging Veralto Enterprise System (VES) principles, this leader drives continuous improvement, develops organizational capabilities, and establishes scalable planning processes that support operational excellence. This is an onsite position in Fort Collins, CO. In this role, a typical day will look like: Leading, coaching, and developing the Production Planning team while establishing clear goals, performance metrics, and development plans. Directing the master production schedule to align customer demand, inventory targets, capacity constraints, and strategic priorities. Monitoring production plan adherence and leading corrective actions to improve schedule stability and execution performance. Leading supply planning within the SIOP process and presenting capacity analyses, inventory projections, and supply risk assessments for leadership review. Partnering across Commercial, Finance, Operations, Procurement, and Customer Service to align demand and supply plans and support revenue, service, and inventory objectives. Developing short- and long-term capacity plans, identifying manufacturing bottlenecks, and improving throughput and resource utilization. Leading inventory optimization strategies that balance customer service, working capital, inventory health, safety stock, and operational efficiency. Applying Veralto Enterprise System (VES) methodologies, standard work, visual management, and data analytics to improve planning accuracy, schedule attainment, and inventory performance. Building organizational capability through workforce planning, succession planning, training, engagement, and talent development. The essential requirements of the job include: Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in production planning, supply chain planning, manufacturing operations, or materials management. Experience serving as a business process owner for ERP, manufacturing, planning, scheduling, or operational systems. Experience leading change management initiatives, system implementations, or business process improvements. Experience developing and managing operational reporting solutions, dashboards, KPIs, and business intelligence tools such as Power BI. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business, or a related field. At least 3 years of leadership experience managing planning, scheduling, or supply chain teams. APICS/ASCM CPIM, CSCP, CLTD, or equivalent certification. Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma Green Belt, or Black Belt certification. Experience within industrial manufacturing, analytical instrumentation, water quality, environmental solutions, or regulated manufacturing environments. Experience with advanced planning systems, Power BI, or supply chain analytics tools. Experience implementing process improvements through VBS, Danaher Business System (DBS), or a similar operating system. This range may be modified in the future. An associate’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. The compensation range for this role is $120,000 - $130,000 USD per year. This job is also eligible for Bonus Pay. We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.
