Senior Specialist - Footwear Developer (Football)

In this role, you will act as the operational engine for our high-performance football footwear development. As a Senior Specialist, you are responsible for the precise implementation of the product lifecycle, ensuring that projects move seamlessly from concept to commercialization. You will act as a high-level executor of the vertical’s technical roadmap, mastering the mechanics that allow our team to deliver with world-class precision.

Your Mission

• Operational Implementation: Oversee the technical flow of the product creation process, driving the day-to-day work required for on-time production.
• Decision Enactment: Drive the alignment necessary to ensure the team’s strategic decisions are documented, communicated, and enacted across the function.
• Technical Problem Solving: Identify and resolve operational bottlenecks and technical hurdles, ensuring the project remains synchronized with performance goals.
• Information Stewardship: Lead the meticulous documentation of all processes and technical decisions, providing a reliable and transparent source of truth.
• Functional Synchronization: Act as the central point of coordination for Design, Sourcing, Testing, and Biomechanics experts, ensuring all cross-functional partners are integrated.
• System Refinement: Work autonomously to identify product efficiencies and monitor costs to meet pricing targets without sacrificing quality.

Your Story

• Professional Expertise: A degree in Industrial Engineering, Product Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience: 4-5+ years of professional experience in an engineering or development-focused role, with a track record of managing complex project lifecycles.
• The "Engine" Mindset: A proactive curious self-starter who finds professional satisfaction in the precision of execution and navigating an ever-changing scope of work with curiosity.
• Impactful Communication: Ability to effectively adjust your communication style to align diverse stakeholders and build trust.
• Technical Literacy: A strong eye for technical documents, with advanced knowledge of footwear materials, components, and construction.
