Gain valuable exposure to how a bank manages its balance sheet, liquidity, and interest rate risks in an evolving financial environment. As an Asset Liability Management Intern, you'll work alongside experienced risk professionals to support the measurement and analysis of key balance sheet risks. You'll have the opportunity to develop your analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills while contributing to initiatives that strengthen the bank's risk management and regulatory compliance capabilities.
To excel in this role, you'll need to be curious, analytical, and detail-oriented. You'll work closely with the Asset Liability Management team to monitor risk exposures, generate risk insights, and support reporting and system enhancement initiatives. Your ability to interpret data, identify trends, and continuously seek process improvements will be key to delivering meaningful outcomes and supporting sound risk management practices.
Group Market Risk Management plays a critical role in safeguarding the bank's financial resilience and supporting sustainable growth. Within the Asset Liability Management team, you'll work alongside risk professionals responsible for monitoring liquidity, funding, and interest rate risks across the bank's balance sheet. You'll gain valuable insights into how risk management, treasury, finance, and business teams collaborate to manage regulatory requirements and maintain the bank's financial strength.
