ABOUT THE JOB

As an Engineer Manager for Workplace, you will be accountable for the leadership of

oneormoreengineeringscrumteams to plan, deliverandsupportservicefeatures

thatdelivercustomervalueand/ormatureservicecapability. The positionisalso

accountableforexecuting the peopleleaderfundamentals in linewith NAB Policies,

driving a learning-basedculturewith an ability to setandgainagreementforrealistic

and stretching objectives for the team.

YOUR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage multi-Agile teams to deliver engineering standards, sprint backlogs, andplans, engineers’ responsibilitiesandperformancemanagement, codequality, adherence to development, andtestingguardrails.

• Managemilestones, deliverables, risks, anddependenciesof the engineeringteams.

• Educate the engineering teams and ensure the release of features to production to comply with NAB risk management frameworks.

• Ability to createandmaintainrelationshipswith a widerangeofstakeholders

• Be the voiceofreasonbetweenspeedandquality;

• Evangelistof the T-shapedworkingmodel; coachengineers to be T-shaped, versatile, andtakeresponsibilityoutsidetheircoredisciplines;

• Linemanagement (1:1 meetings, personaldevelopment & trainingplan, careerpath, probationreviews, andperformancereviews);

• Providetechnicalleadershipacrossarchitecture, APIs, cloudservices, platformengineering, andDevOpspractices, supportingteams to makesoundtechnicaldecisions.

• Be responsibleforcontinuousimprovementof the teams;

• Leadinitiativesforimplementingefficientdevelopmentanddeliveryprocesses;

• Drive a learning-based culture with an ability to set and gain agreement for realisticandstretchingobjectivesfor the team.

• Partner closely with Product Owners to align business outcomes, roadmap priorities, and engineering execution

• Drive delivery of customer-focused outcomes that improve product value, user experience, and business objectives.

• Fulfil other tasks as assigned by your People Leader and/or authorized representative of NAB Vietnam from time to time.

YOUR SKILL AND EXPERIENCE

Must have

• 10+ years working experience in Software Development; 5+ years' experiencein leadingcross-functionalAgileteams

• Demonstrated experience leading full-stack engineering teams delivering web, API, cloud-native, and DevOps solutions.

• Strong understanding of modern digital platforms and customer-facing products.

• Excellentexperience in SDLC methodologies – Scrum, Kanban, Waterfall

• Provenability to manageanddelivercomplextechnologyprojectsinvolvingmultipleengineeringteamsbothonshoreandoffshore

• Real-worldexperiencewithlarge-scaleAgileadoption, notjusttheoreticalknowledge.

• Strongstakeholdermanagementexperience;

• Provenpeopleleadership, teambuilding, motivation, andcoachingskills

• Experience in managingcodeandchangemanagementprocesses

• Experience with IT Service Management (e.g.Release Management) and experiencewithusingServiceNoworsimilar.

• Strong ability to communicate at both strategic and operational level internally andexternally, makingeffectivedecisionsbalancingbusinessandstakeholderneeds

• FluentEnglishskills

Nice to have

• Agile – CertifiedScrumMaster (preferred)

• Experience in the BankingorFinancialServicesindustry; (preferred)
