Responsible for the setup and maintenance of the requirement management process, tool and sync with configuration management.
Responsible for the managing of system requirements, the import / export of stakeholder request / requirements and helps to structure / group the requests for teams / requirements engineers.
Setting up the project’s requirements’ database structure, work item types and attributes. Governs the requirements process and usage of attributes as tailored for project / program / platform specific needs.
Responsible for process compliance across teams related to requirements as defined in planning documents.
Generate the reports of the requirement status (including requirement traceability document) and helps the project / program / platform to properly execute the requirement analysis and scope definition to features.
Ensure the specific requirements (Regulations, MB Standards, etc.) are collected and considered.
Create standardized reporting process in the requirement management system and responsible for branching, configuration and baselining of requirements.
• Bachelor or Master’s degree in Automotive Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Embedded Software, Computer Science, Communication Engineering or related majors.
• Minimum 5 years working experience at OEMs or tier‑one suppliers for infotainment / IDC / CCC system development, with solid hands‑on experience in requirement management, system engineering and change management.
• Deep understanding of requirement management lifecycle, requirement elicitation, traceability, baselining, branching, etc.
• Good knowledge of automotive regulatory requirements, system‑specification creation and review process.
• Excellent technical project management skills, conflict management, stakeholder alignment capability.
• Strong planning and organizational skills, proven experience configuring requirement‑management tooling, database structures, work‑item types and attributes.
• Solid system troubleshooting capability, able to resolve complex requirement inconsistency, traceability and integration issues.
• Advanced knowledge in risk management, R&D process, methods & tools, verification and validation strategies.
• Self‑responsibility, team player with very good communication skills and presentation skills.
• Willingness to travel inside China and abroad to prepare and support launches at JV / suppliers.
• Fluent English (business & technical)
