Every customer relationship at Macquarie starts with the same question: who is this customer, and what are they entitled to do. Customer Core & Entitlements is the team behind the answer - the platform of record for customer data, entitlements and access across every Banking and Financial Services product, from Personal Banking to Business Banking to Wealth. Following the recent retirement of our legacy customer relationship management system and the modernisation of our core platforms, we are looking for an experienced product leader to guide the next phase of our platform roadmap.

We are a global financial services group operating in 30 markets with 57 years of unbroken profitability. At Macquarie, you’re empowered to shape a career that is fulfilling and creates value. You will bring your insights and expertise to the task at hand and feel supported as you make your own kind of impact for a better future.

in this role you will build and coach a team of Product Managers, you will establish how they approach discovery, prioritisation, delivery and measurement of outcomes for a platform that every other product team depends on. You will work closely with senior stakeholders across Personal Banking, Business Banking, Wealth, Operations and Engineering to ensure the platform's roadmap reflects both the needs of product teams and the bank's broader customer data and entitlements strategy, setting the strategic direction for how customer and entitlements data is originated, serviced and consumed, and communicating that direction clearly across the organisation .You will operate with an awareness of the platform's regulatory footprint, given its role in customer data and access control across a regulated bank - including obligations under APRA CPS 234 (Information Security) and Australian privacy and data governance requirements . Champion the use of AI across the team, leveraging it as a genuine collaborator across discovery, design and engineering, and as a core capability embedded in the product itself, so customers experience the benefit directly.

What you offer

An outcome-oriented approach to product management, grounded in data and focused on measuring what matters

Demonstrated experience translating platform capability into tangible outcomes for both customers and employees

Extensive experience leading product teams and developing product managers

Evidence of building strong relationships with senior stakeholders at all levels

Experience setting and communicating strategic direction for a product area, ideally one underpinning multiple platforms or teams

Deep understanding of platform and data products - experience in data, identity or entitlements domains highly regarded

Comfort operating in a fast-moving, regulated or complex enterprise environment

Practical experience using AI tools to simplify product workflows and team ways of working, not just to ship AI-powered features

We love hearing from anyone inspired to build a better future with us, if you're excited about the role or working at Macquarie we encourage you to apply.
