THE BUSINESS UNIT

Honeywell Building Automation (BA) is a leading global provider of products, software, solutions, and technologies that enable building owners and occupants to ensure their facilities are safe, energy efficient, sustainable, and productive. BA products and services include advanced software applications for building control and optimization; sensors, switches, control systems, and instruments for energy management; access control; video surveillance; fire products; and installation, maintenance, and upgrades of systems. The Sr. HR Generalist / HR Partner is responsible for providing human resources support to one of most important manufacturing plant in Italy to develop, deliver and maintain programs which directly align with the achievement of business objectives. This position will drive efforts in the areas of employee relations, performance management, organizational design/efficiency, training, and communication.

As a Sr HR Generalist / HR Partner you will play a critical role in providing comprehensive HR support by managing various HR aspects including employee relations, performance management, talent acquisition, and HR policy compliance. Your expertise will help ensure the success of our HR initiatives and foster a positive work culture. In this role, you will impact the organization by driving employee engagement, supporting workforce development, change management initiatives and contributing to the retention of top talent across the business.

Responsibilities

  • Provide a broad range of HR support actions for achieving business objectives, including talent management, organization effectiveness and employee engagement.
  • Manage employee relations, including handling employee inquiries, conducting investigations, and resolving conflicts
  • Lead labor employee relation strategy and related project execution;
  • Support performance management processes such as goal setting, performance reviews, and development plans
  • Partner with talent acquisition teams to attract and select top talent for the organization
  • Partner with the HR Centers of Excellence and HR Services and Digital Operations to design and implement program strategies to support the long-term business objectives.
  • Drive efficiencies throughout the business while ensuring alignment with overall objectives.
  • Lead Human Resources core processes: performance management, change management, succession planning, salary planning, positive employee relations, and management resource review.
  • Deliver organizational design and strategies for workforce planning, deployment and retention to address the current and future needs of the business while ensuring a diverse workforce.
  • Ensure compliance with HR policies, procedures, and legal requirements
  • Develop and implement HR programs and initiatives aligned with business objectives
  • Provide guidance and support on HR practices and regulations

Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE

  • 8+ years of experience in HR, ideally in an ISC site, with strong focus on employee relations, performance management, and talent acquisition
  • In-depth knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and best practices
  • Proven experience managing employee relations including investigations and conflict resolution
  • Proficiency in relevant HR software and tools applicable to the role

  • Depth of experience leading performance management cycles, including goal alignment, reviews, feedback, and development planning
  • Strong understanding of talent acquisition approaches that attract, assess, and secure the right capabilities for the business
  • Ability to translate business priorities into practical HR strategies, drive organizational change, and build constructive employee relations in complex environments.
  • Compelling communicator and trusted coach who can influence leaders, resolve issues, and build credibility across all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to interpret HR regulations and legal requirements and apply them with practical business judgment
