Sr Finance Supervisor

About the role

In this role as Sr Finance Supervisor, you will be supporting the Industrial Automation (IA) for Industrial Measurement and Controls (IMC) and Honeywell Thermal Solutions (HTS) businesses across Latin America, you will serve as a strategic leader and business partner to sales, operations, ISC and Americas CFO’s. You will drive forecasting accuracy, revenue & cost optimization, financial performance visibility, risk and opportunity assessment and operational planning.

This role will report directly to the Regional Commercial Finance Leader, and you’ll work out of our San Luis Potosi / Mexico City location on a hybrid work schedule.

Responsibilities

Financial Planning, Forecasting & Performance Management

  • Lead financial weekly, monthly, quarterly performance reviews by consolidating and analyzing Pipeline, Orders, Revenue, Margins, Working Capital and Overall P&L performance.
  • Develop and maintain robust forecasting, ensuring alignment between commercial and operational execution, and financial accuracy (Say-Do).
  • Lead AOP (Annual Operating Plan), SRO (Short Range Outlook), and Strategic Plan (STRAP).

Commercial Finance

  • Act as partner with Sales Leadership to evaluate pipeline performance, bookings trends, and revenue conversion opportunities.
  • Challenge and validate commercial assumptions to ensure profitability and sustainable growth.
  • Support pricing, margin enhancement, and business performance initiatives by providing analytical insights and scenario modeling.
  • Facilitate executive-level reviews and business operating mechanisms, ensuring alignment of financial objectives across commercial and operational teams.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to General Managers and business leaders by translating complex financial data into strategic recommendations.

Revenue, Operations & Supply Chain Finance

  • Collaborate with Operations, Supply Chain, and Project Management teams to improve revenue predictability and execution processes.
  • Support inventory optimization, cost reduction initiatives, and operational efficiency programs that drive profitability improvement.
  • Participate in cross-functional initiatives aimed at identifying bottlenecks, resolving operational challenges, and accelerating business results.

Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 8+ years of progressive experience in Commercial Finance, ISC Finance, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), or Controllership functions.
  • Strong understanding of P&L management, forecasting, budgeting, financial consolidation, and variance analysis.
  • Experience supporting executive leadership through financial reviews, operating mechanisms, and performance management processes.
  • Advanced analytical, problem-solving, and business partnering skills.
  • Strong communication skills with demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Experience working within multinational organizations and matrix environments.

WE VALUE

  • MBA, Master's Degree, CPA, CMA, or equivalent professional certification.
  • Advanced expertise in SAP, Power BI, AI, Excel Power Query, and financial reporting platforms.
  • Experience supporting Industrial, Manufacturing, Automation, Technology, or Project-Based businesses.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining high standards of accuracy, governance, and execution.
