As an Assembler / Fiberglass Laminator, you will support the production of fiberglass tanks by assembling components, operating manufacturing equipment, and following established production and quality standards. You'll contribute to a safe, efficient, and organized work environment while helping ensure products are built accurately and delivered on schedule.
Responsibilities
- Assemble fiberglass tanks and related components using hand and power tools.
- Operate production equipment safely and efficiently while meeting quality and productivity expectations.
- Read and follow blueprints, work instructions, and manufacturing specifications.
- Complete assigned work according to production schedules with minimal supervision.
- Inspect work to ensure products meet quality standards and customer specifications.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
- Follow all NOV Health, Safety & Environment (HSE), Quality, and company policies and procedures.
- Support team goals by assisting with other production tasks and responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
- Manufacturing, assembly, construction, or fiberglass experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work instructions preferred.
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools is a plus.
- Ability to work overtime and flexible schedules, including day or night shifts, as needed.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
- Ability to regularly lift up to 15 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to safety, quality, and teamwork.
- Willingness to learn new skills and work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
