Communicates assigned job goals from the Manufacturing Supervisor or Project Manager to the crew.
Effectively communicate with other team Leads/Crew Chiefs and Project Managers to accomplish the plan objectives.
Maintains an ongoing parts shortage list for assigned jobs.
Takes ownership of the work area and assure it is maintained in a clean and safe condition and in compliance with company and departmental policy.
Review of all build specifications prior to starting operations on large weldments and assemblies.
Responsibilities
Responsible for the hiring of all crew members and for insuring they work in a safe and efficient manner.
Responsible for all crew training.
Responsible for keeping Manufacturing Supervisor informed on all pertinent employee issues.
Responsible for achieving all assigned job goals.
Responsible for the safe and efficient work of all assigned crews.
Responsible for the review of all assembly build specifications prior to releasing the assembly to shop floor personnel.
Responsible for the safe fabrication, testing and repair of assigned NOV products
Responsible to follow all applicable company and corporate policies, procedures and programs, including but not limited to the process map, support processes, safety and environmental requirements.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED preferred
Minimum 3 years of experience in a heavy equipment manufacturing environment.
Ability to pass a health screening.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to stand/stoop/sit for 8 hours
Demonstrated leadership skill.
Demonstrated planning skill.
