Job Description

Position Summary

The position ofConstructionQualityControlManager has the overall responsibility of developing,implementing, and managing the qualitycontrol programfor the project.Must ensuresufficient andcontrolled systems are in place tomaintainthe integrityof the projectplansand that all methods and procedures contained in the Construction Quality Management Plan (CQMP) are implemented and followed correctly by all personnel so that operations are executed in a compliant manner.

Job Duties

  • Develop, implement, andmaintaintheConstructionQualityManagementSystemfor the project including the Project Quality Management Plan(QMP)

  • Oversee field Quality Controlactivities.

  • Perform quality reports,auditsand overseeQA and QCdocumentationand testresults

  • Ensure compliancewithcontract documents,theQMPand withFederal, State, Local,ISO 9001and other regulatory laws and standards.

  • Maintain andreportthequality management system records as required by the projectQMPand Company corporate requirements.

  • Manageall nonconformitiesat the project levelandleadthe root cause analysisandtheimplementationofanycorrective and preventive actions.

  • Attend meetings related with Quality issues.

  • Distribute relevant QC documentation to site subcontractorsandother teamsand stakeholders

  • Verifyandoverseethat theconstructionsite activities arein accordance withthe applicable codes and standards.

  • Develop and implementQualityTrainingsandperformQCAuditsto the project and subcontractors.

  • Jointly, with Construction and Procurement departments, review contractual specificationsofall materialsto be used onthe project.

  • Performevaluationsof consultants andsubcontractorsas specified in the QMP.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’sDegreeinCivilEngineering, Construction Science, or equivalent is preferred.

  • Minimum often(10) years of experience of progressive responsibility in quality controlmanagerposition.

  • Must have relevant construction quality control management experience on projects of similar type and scope

  • Experience on largehighway,bridge/structures, paving, and/or utility relocation projects as a contractor.

  • Applicable certifications in Quality and Construction.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, SharePoint, and document control systems.

  • Excellent communication, reporting, and leadership skills.
