Field Sales Account Manager, End User, Romania

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be

• Build and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective customers, fostering trust, customer satisfaction, and long-term partnerships.
• Develop and execute account strategies that identify growth opportunities, expand product and solution adoption, and support customer success.
• Engage with stakeholders across customer organizations to understand business objectives, operational challenges, and decision-making processes.
• Collaborate with customers and internal partners to assess needs and identify solutions that address business and operational priorities.
• Present tailored solutions and clearly communicate the value of Emerson’s products, services, and capabilities.
• Identify, qualify, and advance new business opportunities within assigned accounts, supporting the full sales cycle from opportunity discovery through order acquisition.
• Partner closely with Business Development Managers, technical specialists, and support teams to deliver high-quality customer experiences and comprehensive solutions.
• Support strategic pursuits by connecting decision-makers with the appropriate Emerson resources and subject matter experts.
• Develop account strategies that balance customer value, business growth, and pricing objectives.
• Monitor industry trends, customer developments, market dynamics, and competitive activity to uncover opportunities and strengthen customer engagement.
• Maintain accurate customer, opportunity, and forecast information within CRM and sales management systems.

For This Role, You Will Need

• Around 2-3 years of experience developing and managing customer relationships in a sales, account management, business development, or customer-facing environment.
• Ability to understand customer needs, identify business opportunities, and propose value-driven solutions.
• Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve customer and business objectives.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain customer records, and utilize CRM or sales technology tools effectively.
• Demonstrated ability to influence, negotiate, and build credibility with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Willingness and ability to travel as required to support customer engagement and business growth.
• Driving license (cat. B).

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart

• Experience in industrial automation, process control, measurement technologies, or related technical industries.
• Knowledge of consultative selling methodologies and strategic account planning.
• Experience working with complex customer organizations and multiple stakeholder groups.
• Familiarity with project-driven sales environments and long sales cycles.
• Experience using CRM platforms, opportunity management tools, and sales analytics.
• Understanding of market trends, customer business drivers, and operational processes within relevant industries.
• Additional language skills that support collaboration with diverse customer groups and global teams.
