The Head of Private Cloud provides end-to-end
ownership of the Private Cloud portfolio, including cloud strategy, service
catalogue development, platform lifecycle management, commercial performance,
customer engagement and operational excellence. The role ensures that Private
Cloud services remain secure, resilient, scalable and aligned with customer
requirements and organisational objectives.
As the functional leader for Private Cloud
Services, the role works closely with Sales, Pre-Sales, Service Delivery,
Architecture, Security, Commercial and Operations to develop and deliver
market-leading cloud services that drive business growth and customer success.
Expectations From The
Strategic Leadership

Define and
execute the Private Cloud strategy and roadmap.

long-term vision for cloud services, platforms and capabilities.

Service Portfolio Ownership

Own and
maintain the Private Cloud service catalogue.

service propositions remain commercially viable and operationally effective.

Manage the
lifecycle of cloud services from inception through retirement.
Commercial Management
·
Own the
commercial performance of the Private Cloud portfolio.

Develop
pricing strategies, service costing models and financial forecasts.

Support bid
responses, customer proposals and strategic business cases.
·
Drive revenue
growth, margin improvement and profitability objectives.
·
Collaborate
with Sales and Pre-Sales to support customer acquisition and retention.
Cloud
Platform Leadership

Provide executive leadership
for Digital Planet Private Cloud platforms.

Ensure platform
availability, resilience, scalability and performance.

Oversee technology refresh,
lifecycle planning and capacity management.

Drive operational automation
and service optimisation initiatives.

Lead strategic
infrastructure and cloud transformation programmes.
Customer
Leadership
·
Act as executive sponsor for
strategic cloud customers.

Build trusted relationships
with senior customer stakeholders.

Participate in governance
forums, service reviews and steering committees.

Essential Experience

cloud, infrastructure or managed service operations.

cloud and hybrid cloud environments.
