Graphic Design Brief

We are launching a SaaS platform that monitors the digital systems a business depends on and identifies problems that could affect customers — things like broken links, failed forms, broken images, website performance, email issues, and other website failures.

We are looking for a premium looping animation for our website. This is not a traditional explainer video.

Reference for the level/style of visual storytelling: Fullstory.com

We are NOT looking to copy their design. We like the way they use simple, playful motion to visually explain a complex software product without relying on screenshots, dashboards, or lengthy explanations. Still trying to decide on a computer browser or mobile browser image…

The Concept

The animation should visually communicate one simple idea

Our Solution continuously moves through your website, checks what your customers depend on, and identifies problems before they become bigger issues.

We envision a beautiful fictional small-business website displayed inside a stylized browser window.

The Solution continuously scans the website.

The animation moves through approximately four different pages of the SAME website.

Each page demonstrates two types of checks.

Page 1 — Homepage

The Solution checks

Website loads/availability check

The scanner moves through the page.

Receives a subtle ✓.

The page then transitions/flips to the next page as if a user were moving from one page to the next.

Page 2 — Email

The Solution checks

Email link works

The animation briefly simulates verifying the email is functioning correctly.

Result

A box pops up and receives a subtle ✓ Email link works

Page 3 — Contact

The Solution checks

Contact forms

Buttons

The animation briefly simulates completing and submitting a form.

Result

✓ Form working

A CTA/button is also tested.

Then the website transitions to the next page.

Page 4 — Broken Link

The Solution checks

Broken Link Detection

A working link receives a subtle ✓.

Another link has a problem and receives a subtle warning indicator.

Small message

Broken link

The animation then transitions seamlessly back to Page 1 and repeats in a continuous loop.

Fictional Website

The animation should use ONE professionally designed fictional small-business website.

For example

yourbusiness.com

Pages could include

Projects / Services

Contact

Booking / Inquiry

The exact fictional business is flexible.

The important thing is that it looks like a real, professionally designed small-business website, not a software dashboard.

All text should be real and readable.

Technical Requirements

Our website is being built using Lovable / React.

The final animation needs to be lightweight and suitable for a website hero/marketing section.

Deliverables

We expect

Visual concept / storyboard

Design of the fictional website and four page states

Scanning visual language

Motion design

Seamless looping animation

Desktop version

Responsive/mobile consideration

Final editable source file

Final source/design file

Web-ready exported asset

Basic implementation guidance for embedding it into our website

The final files must be editable so we can modify colors, copy, timing, or individual checks in the future.

Here's a draft to the website where this will be used on the HERO page: https://always-ready-watch.lovable.app

Requirements

Must have

We would like to develop a simple visual language that could potentially become part of the brand. Our current idea is a thin turquoise scanning line/pulse that moves horizontally across the webpage. When it encounters something being tested: Turquoise pulse = currently being checked Green ✓ = working Amber ! = problem detected We are open to the designer proposing a better visual metaphor. We want the scanner to feel intelligent and playful — but subtle.

Nice to have

We want: Clean Premium Modern Minimal Friendly Playful Sophisticated SaaS/product-design aesthetic Lots of white/negative space Smooth, elegant motion Subtle depth Excellent typography Purposeful animation The animation should feel like something that belongs on a well-funded modern SaaS company's homepage.

Should not have

Generic AI-generated SaaS artwork Cybersecurity imagery Hackers Shields Code Server graphics Complicated dashboards Giant warning symbols Excessive neon/glowing effects Multiple floating browser windows Stock illustration Cartoon characters Fake/gibberish website text An explainer-video aesthetic
