As a Senior Project Manager supporting the Hunter Class Frigate Program, you’ll play a pivotal leadership role in delivering one of Australia’s most significant and complex defence capability projects.
Leading multiple project teams or a portfolio of interdependent projects, you’ll be responsible for driving performance, achieving key program outcomes and ensuring successful delivery across cost, schedule, risk and quality objectives.
Working closely with senior stakeholders, customers and program leadership, you’ll help shape the future direction of the program while contributing to Babcock’s long-term strategic objectives.
From establishing robust governance and managing customer relationships through to overseeing financial performance, supplier delivery and project reporting, you’ll provide the leadership and direction needed to successfully deliver critical capability for the Royal Australian Navy.
You’re an accomplished project leader with extensive experience delivering large-scale, complex programs, ideally within the defence, maritime, engineering or highly regulated sectors.
You have a proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders, lead multidisciplinary teams and navigate complex project environments while maintaining focus on strategic objectives, customer outcomes and commercial performance.
You bring strong commercial acumen, sound governance experience and a thorough understanding of project and program management principles, with the ability to balance competing priorities across cost, schedule and risk.
Passionate about developing others, you’ll foster a culture of continuous improvement, safety and innovation while promoting environmental responsibility and the values that underpin Babcock’s success.
If you’re motivated by the opportunity to contribute to the Hunter Class Frigate Program and help deliver a sovereign defence capability for Australia, we’d love to hear from you.
