MVI Project Engineer (Gwangmyeong)

[PURPOSE OF THIS JOB]

The purpose of this role is to

• Expertise knowledge in technical hand held and fixture assembly solutions in the Final Assembly environment
• Expertise knowledge in automated machinery solutions including PLC functionalities meeting production environment in PT, FA, T-1 industry segment
• Expertise knowledge in matching software solutions matching the production volume and quality requirements
• Automation business development and support in all MVI customer with Automation Team.

[DUTIES&RESPONSIBILITY]

• Feasibility study, analysis, schedule, coordinate, monitor and validation the assigned engineering projects
• Engineering support for customer project collaborating with Field Service technician including Mechanical or Electrical tasks to perform project.
• Interact daily with the customers to interpret their needs and requirements and represent them in the field
• Perform overall quality control of the work (budget, schedule, plans, personnel’s performance) and report regularly on project status
• Cooperate and communicate effectively with project manager and other project participants to provide assistance and technical support
• Review engineering deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actions
• Supplier management for local parts, overseas parts collaborating with logistics/purchasing team.
• Working with APC (Application Center) for special product launch and delivery to keep customer demands.

[QUALIFICATIONS]

[Experience/Education]

• Candidates have at least 5 years’ experience in an engineering related field and including of project management and automation experience.
• Bachelor’s degree preferable in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Automation, Electrical Engineering, etc.
• Basic knowledge in industrial electrical/mechanical or automation, fieldbus (PLC) technique.
• Network technology and data communications is an advantage.
• Good command of spoken and written English is favorable
