Reporting directly to the Learning and Talent Development Manager, the Learning and Performance Specialist is responsible for delivering An Post’s performance and talent development framework. This role supports the measurement and development of talent and oversees standardised talent and performance management approaches to deliver on An Post’s strategy and goals.
The principal responsibilities associated with this role include, but are not limited to the following:
Support the Learning and Talent Development Manager to implement a robust performance management process through the annual cycle
Support HRBPs to implement key components of talent and performance processes within their business area
Provide data and metrics that support annual reporting into senior management and HRBPs
Analyse performance differences in various business areas, workforce segments and hierarchical levels for HRBPs and leadership, and input into strategy
Work with HRBPs to drive high completion rates across the performance management and development processes (goal setting, development planning, calibration, and succession planning), support probation as required
Develop and implement a robust upskilling framework to support An Post employees to engage and see the value in performance management and development planning processes
Drive the implementation and adoption of a skills framework moving An Post towards a skills first organisation and promoting development planning around skills proficiency levels
Continuously improve the performance and development management process incorporating feedback from all stakeholders
Provide detailed reports that support the implementation of succession planning in specific business areas
Develop and maintain An Post’s Performance information hub via Microsoft SharePoint
Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in talent development and performance management
Collaborate with the Reward and Organisation Effectiveness Teams to support alignment of performance management frameworks to An Post’s reward strategy
You will have relevant experience within Human Resources, Organisational Development, or related fields, with a strong background in performance management. Your knowledge of different performance management tools and approaches for evaluation will be essential in this role.
You will demonstrate the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation and externally, ensuring effective collaboration and communication.
A professional certification in HR or a related field would be advantageous.

Salary
Salary range starting from €55,139. Placement within the advertised salary range will be determined based on the successful candidate’s skills, experience, qualifications and alignment with the role requirements.
