Job Description

The Mechanical Designer is responsible for the design, development, and implementation of custom manufacturing equipment, tooling, and process improvements for Amcor operations.

Strong SolidWorks 3D modeling and drawing creation skills.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Strong project management, planning, and organizational skills.

Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

Manufacturing and mechanical aptitude.

What We Want From You

•

Associate Degree in Mechanical Design, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or related field (minimum requirement).

•

3+ years of mechanical design experience preferred.

•

Advanced proficiency in SolidWorks including parts, assemblies, weldments, and print creation.

•

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.

•

Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Physical Requirements

•

Ability to work in office and manufacturing environments.

•

Ability to occasionally lift up to 30 pounds.

•

Ability to wear required PPE.
