Role Overview: Unpack Your Potential
Join Amcor as a Press Operator and play a key role in producing high-quality products that protect what is important. You will lead machine line operations, including changeovers, start-ups, running, and shutdown, while prioritizing safety and compliance with specifications.
Schedule
Shift: 12-hour, 2-2-3 Nights, 7:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m Days 7:00am - 7:00 p.m.

Overtime: 1.5x pay for hours over 40 per week

Job Description: Possibility Unpacked
Operators will lead in all aspects of operation of lines including changeovers, machine start-up, running and shutdown.
Support operations in becoming World Class in all aspects of the business, beginning with Safety.
Run all jobs in accordance with customer specification, manufacturing specification, print specification.
Work with and direct the assistants to minimize job change-over and down time.
Train and direct the assistant to become efficient at all the required assistant duties.
Performs basic operator preventative maintenance to machines and/or tools.
What We Want From You: Lead the Pack
Ability read, understand, and follow customer specifications
Experience in manufacturing environment preferred.
Forklift experience preferred
Must have basic computer skills to complete tasks in operator software
Required to have visual acuity to perform visual inspection including the use of measurement devices and ability to identify and distinguish colors
