To primary purpose will be working to support the Automation Engineering team with the design, development, commissioning, and support of industrial machinery and control systems. This role will work under a Electrical & Automation Manager and assist with electrical and automation tasks across machine build, testing, customer deployment and support.
WHAT YOU GET TO DO
Assist with electrical and automation system development
Support PLC and HMI programming of new machine builds
Assist with electrical design documentation and updates
Support machine commissioning and troubleshooting
Provide technical support during machine builds, site installations & customer support
Contribute to continuous machine improvements
Build and maintain clear technical documentation
WHAT WE VALUE
Strong problem-solving skills
Willingness to learn and develop in an automation engineering role
Exposure to commissioning or site-based work
Hands on Electrical Experience
WHAT WE WANT FROM YOU
Tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation, or similar
Qualified Electrician with industrial machinery experience
Basic understanding of industrial automation systems
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings
Exposure to PLC-based control systems (Rockwell/ Allen Bradley)
Experience working with industrial machinery
Experience in manufacturing environments
