The position focuses on managing operational purchasing from ordering to goods receipt and long term strategic sourcing and supply chain development.
• Execute day-to-day procurement activities, including inventory monitoring, materials planning, price negotiations, PR/PO creation, confirmations, shipment tracking and delivery coordination, ensuring the uninterrupted plant operations.
• Resolve complaints directly with suppliers related to quantity, packaging, pricing or quality issues.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, audit requirements, and internal controls.
• Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans for assigned categories focused on supply security, cost reduction, supplier consolidation, and long term value creation.
• Partner with R&D, production and quality teams on material changes, supplier transitions, and innovation opportunities.
• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, economics, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5 ~10 years of professional purchasing experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment, ideally in the chemical industry.
• Confident use in ERP systems and MS Office applications Excel, PowerPoint.
• Nice to have: chemical background and SAP knowledge.
• Good English skills in both written and spoken English.
• Experience with strategic sourcing and vendor performance management.
• Strong communication skills, expertise in negotiation, and knowledge of contract law.
